Looking Back on 2022!

Written by: Brandon Gaskin   |   Nov 24, 2022

What a year it has been. Full of challenges, but full of JOY. We have seen the Lord move in ways we could have not imagined. We have seen the gospel pierce the hearts of many Deaf people.

Take a look at what 2022 has brought!

Brandon Gaskin, our Executive Director, is part of the Inclusion Fusion Live panel. A disability ministry conference addressing the importance of accessibility and inclusion. This conference was made accessible to Deaf people, in-person and online.

Our first “in-person” conference – Awaken! It had over 80 + young Deaf adults from across the U.S. It was a full weekend to equip and commission Deaf young adults and their leaders. Now they can go and make disciples for Christ. During Awaken, we saw several people accept Jesus as their Savior and decide to be baptized right on the spot!

Deaf Women Conference 2022 happened again this year! More than 800 Deaf women gathered from across the world for this two-day online conference. Deaf women speakers were featured and more than 100 women were saved! Deaf Millennial Project raised $50,000 for sign language Bible translation. What an incredible weekend!

Deaf women gathered in different places from all over the world to experience Deaf Women Conference 2022. Churches, coffee shops, and homes became the weekend to fellowship like never before.

Our executive team meets monthly to connect, pray, and discuss each step for DMP. We are extremely grateful for each executive serving from across the U.S.

Our partnership with the Deaf Ministry Coalition has made a tremendous impact. Seeing our various Deaf ministries partners come together and envision a Deaf gospel movement on a collaborative level is amazing.

This partnership is just a taste of what’s ahead. So as we continue to dive deeper into the work of seeing a Deaf community gospel movement, we invite you to hold the rope by giving today.
