Thankful! Day 3

Thank The Lord For His Salvation Through Jesus 

 

We ought to give God praise for sending us His son, Jesus. Why? Because we deserve the punishment of death. It was our sin that caused separation from the Father. But God sent His own Son, Jesus, to die on the cross so that we can live and be united with Him again. Because of that, we should be thankful that Jesus was willing to die for us so we can live and have a personal relationship with the Father.

 

Romans 5:8

But God showed His great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.

 

John 3:16-17 

For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him. 

 

Ephesians 2:8-9

For by grace you have been saved through faith and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God. not by work, so that no one can boast.

 

Do This Today

 

1. Take the time to praise and worship God for sending His son, Jesus!
2. Reflect that we can do nothing without Jesus, and with His redeeming love, we are able to have a relationship with God.
